Typical Disney Animation

Posted Jan 03, 2011

Though it manages to couple visual brilliance with enchanting music, Tangled is an unmemorable animation whose cliche-loaded plot often verges into silliness in the film's vain and outlandish attempts to garner laughs from its seven-year-old audience. This 50th animation picture from Disney that twists the classic tale of Rapunzel evokes nothing beyond kiddish enchantment within the audience -- not the pure wonder that classic Disney tales, such as Beauty and the Beast, have kindled. The film is merely a showcase of the fantastic new animation that Disney has created over so many years in the business and Disney's failure to capture the same imaginative spark it retained so long ago. 2 Stars

Ken.. I like your reviews. But many critics claim this to be the best Disney princess movie of all time. And it WAS funny. In my opinion. Well. Sorry if I'm being too mean, as you told me I was in school. Still. nice reviews. I like reading them.

There are too many Disney princess movies out there now. People are wasting their time and effort on them.
Also, what does the title have to do with the actual movie?
